Email Policy
This Email Policy is issued by Network Technical System Co., Ltd., operating under the brand name hostatom (hereinafter referred to as “hostatom”, “we”, or “our”). For the purposes of this Email Policy, the terms “User” or “you” refer to any individual or entity accessing or using the services provided by hostatom (the “Services”). This document sets forth the terms, conditions, rights, obligations, and limitations governing the use of the Services. Terms used with initial capital letters and not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in this document. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Email Policy.
Restrictions
Outbound email is limited to no more than 100 emails per domain within a one-hour period. If the number of emails sent exceeds the specified limit within such period, the system will reject the emails and return an error message indicating that the emails cannot be delivered. This measure is implemented to prevent the sending of spam emails.
In such cases, the User’s account will require a period of time before normal email sending privileges are restored. Therefore, it is recommended that the User wait at least one hour after the issue occurs before attempting to send emails again.
If you need to send more than 100 emails per hour, we recommend using a Dedicated Server or Cloud VPS service. In all cases, the sending of spam emails is strictly prohibited.
Spam Email
The use of email services to distribute spam or unsolicited commercial communications is strictly prohibited and may constitute an offense under applicable law, including the following:
The law applicable to the prosecution of spam email includes the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), Section 11, which provides:
“Any person who sends computer data or electronic mail to another person by concealing or falsifying the source of such data, in a manner that disturbs the normal operation of another person’s computer system, shall be subject to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand Baht.” (Penalty: fine only, no imprisonment)
In cases where the sending of spam email causes damage, the Criminal Code, Section 341 (Fraud), may also be additionally applied, which provides:
“Any person who dishonestly deceives another person by making a false statement or concealing facts which should be disclosed, and by such deception obtains property from the deceived person or a third person, or induces the deceived person to execute, revoke, or destroy a document of rights, shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, or a fine not exceeding six thousand Baht, or both.”
If we determine that you have sent spam email, the Services will be immediately suspended without any refund of service fees.
Note: Please be aware that the definition of “unsolicited” or “unwanted” email may differ between the sender and the recipient. You should exercise discretion when sending email to multiple recipients, even where the recipients have previously opted in to receive communications. If a recipient marks an email as junk mail, future emails sent by you may be blocked.
Malware and Security
The use of email services to transmit viruses, malware, worms, vulnerabilities, Trojan horses, corrupted files, or any other items of a destructive or deceptive nature is strictly prohibited. You are also prohibited from disseminating content that causes damage to, or disrupts the operation of, any network, server, or other person.
Fraud and Illegal Activities
The use of email services to send messages that are deceptive, misleading, or intended to induce other users to disclose personal information by impersonating another person, company, or legal entity with fraudulent or misleading intent is strictly prohibited.
The use of email services for harassment, intimidation, or threats against others is also prohibited. If we detect the use of email services for such purposes, the Services will be immediately suspended.
hostatom reserves the right to amend or modify this Email Policy at any time without prior notice to the User.
